About us

Our History

The “Toyboss” brand started its operations in 2009 with the production of sandwiches, and in 2012 launched the production of sausages. In this short period, the company has established itself in the Kyrgyz market as a reliable producer of high-quality, natural, and most importantly, delicious meat products.

Our History

The story of our company began with Bektursun and Myrzabek Orumbaev, two brothers from Karakol who came to Astana to study and work. Their entrepreneurial activity started in 2005 when they noticed the absence of ready-made sandwiches in local stores. Seeing an opportunity, they decided to seize it, starting their business with just $300.

 

By purchasing a small packaging machine and some ingredients, the brothers began making sandwiches in the kitchen of their rented apartment. Without any significant culinary skills but with a desire to grow, they began selling their products in the local market. The demand for sandwiches gradually increased.

 

In 2009, after achieving success in Astana, the brothers decided to return to their homeland and produce sandwiches in Bishkek. In the new market, they faced various challenges and had to work much harder than in Astana. However, thanks to the perseverance and efforts of the team, Toyboss Sandwiches managed to secure a place on the shelves of Kyrgyzstan. This marked the establishment of the “Toyboss Sandwich” brand, which is currently the leading producer of sandwiches, hot dogs, and other ready-to-eat products.

A major challenge they faced in sandwich production was the lack of reliable suppliers of high-quality halal sausages. Therefore, the brothers decided to start their own production of sausage products. In 2012, a small meat-processing factory was launched, initially producing sausages solely for sandwiches. However, the products quickly gained market demand, leading to the creation of the “Toyboss” brand.
Production scale was growing, and in 2014, the company turned into LLC "Adal Azyk." The founders and workers were learning about the latest technologies, equipment, and standards. With knowledge gained, a decision was made to build a brand-new modern factory. It took several years to design and build it with the help of international experts.
In 2017, a modern digital meat processing plant along with a slaughterhouse in Kochkor was launched. Despite financial risks and challenges, this step allowed the company not only to guarantee high-quality meat but also to gain consumer trust and become a market leader.

The factory and slaughterhouse, in addition to complying with Halal and HACCP principles, in 2018 were certified by the international organization TÜV Thüringen e.V. according to ISO 22000:2005, ISO/TS 22002-1:2009, and FSSC 22000 standards. Having the FSSC 22000 certification assures consumers that all business operations from supplier selection to final delivery meet the highest international quality and safety standards. As a result of expansion and increased export, a distribution company “Toyboss KZ” was also established in Kazakhstan that year.

In 2019, the laboratory on the factory premises successfully passed an audit and was accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. It became the first accredited laboratory among meat product companies in Kyrgyzstan. In sausage production, however, there were some challenges: 90% of poultry was imported, and the local market could not offer high-quality halal chicken meat. Following the familiar principle of "If you can’t find something—produce it yourself," an old non-operating poultry farm in Balykchy was purchased in 2019.
After extensive planning with foreign experts, in 2021, the first site of the “Agro Kush” poultry farm was launched. The poultry factory now is the largest and most modern in Kyrgyzstan, featuring its own waste processing plant, feed mill, and laboratory. Agro Kush also meets the highest international FSSC 22000 standards. Currently, there is ongoing work to expand and build new facilities. Besides securing high-quality raw materials, the company aims to cover half of the domestic demand for chicken meat.
By 2022, the production volumes of the group of companies had grown. LLC “Snack Foods,” known as the TM “Toyboss Sandwich,” scaled its production and opened a 2000 sq.m facility in the city of Osh. Also, with the aim of scaling, the company purchased the REEMSTMA Kyrgyzstan building, covering 12,000 sq.m. Work began to refurbish and adapt the building for food production. Following the aim of being honest and transparent, in 2022 the company underwent an IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) audit, providing assurance to shareholders that the company reflects the real financial state of the business.
Previously, incubation eggs for "Agro Kush" were imported from abroad due to the lack of local supply, which caused inconveniences, losses, and risks. To address this issue, in December 2022, the fourth company of the group—LLC “Pedigree Poultry Farm ‘Kyrgyz Broiler’”—was founded and began operations in 2023. The company produces incubation eggs specifically for "Agro Kush." This step not only secured a reliable supply of eggs and closed the production cycle but also raised standards in the domestic poultry industry. Work continued on the development and expansion of new projects: the construction of the second site for “Agro Kush,” new aviaries for "Kyrgyz Broiler," and renovations in the Reemtsma building.
In 2024, the “Snack Foods” Company moved all of its production to the former building of Reemstma. The building also acts as a central warehouse as well as a commerce department for the other companies of the group. Today, "Toyboss" is not just a business, but a symbol of perseverance, innovation, and a commitment to quality. We continue to expand the boundaries of what is possible, actively covering new aspects of the food and agro-industrial industries, and setting new standards of quality and safety in the industry.

Our factories have FSSC 22000 certification and an accredited laboratory, confirming that we control the quality of raw materials and adhere to the strictest safety and quality standards in production. Equally important is that our products are Halal, certified by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan and the Kyrgyz State Standard. We only work with Halal certified suppliers, whereas having our own slaughterhouse and poultry fabric ensures that all livestock are slaughtered in accordance with Halal principles.

We have created a unique corporate culture, supporting career and personal development of employees. For example, we send over 30 employees to Dubai for a week-long vacation annually, take all employees to Issyk-Kul, pay for their local and international training and internships, sponsor participation in marathons and different events, organize sport and social team buildings, etc. We strongly believe that every person is a valuable part of the team that contributes to the achievement of our common mission.
